Sizes for any room:
Vail fireplaces come in three widths – 20, 32, and 36 inches. The Vail 20 measures 11 inches
deep, while the Vail 32 and 36 are both 14 inches deep.

The Vail Series of vent free fireplaces are zero clearance certified
and offer 99% fuel efficiency. They operate by drawing in the room's
existing air, and then heating and recirculating the warmer air back
into the room for maximum comfort. An oxygen depletion sensor and
automatic shut-off control ensures safety.
The Vail Series features
Empire's exclusive Slope Glaze Burner System with the charred oak log
set. You get tall dancing flames and glowing embers for either natural
gas or propane.
- The
Vail fireplace can be installed in new or existing construction to gain
the comfort and efficiency of a vent-free gas fireplace.
- The concrete and ceramic brick liners, optional on some models, enhance the built-in look.
- Vail Fireplaces fit our all-new White Mountain Hearth Standard Mantels.

ANSI Z21 11.2 Standard and National Fuel Gas Code revised
in 1994 to permit wall mounted installations of vent-free gas heaters of
10,000 Btu or less in bedrooms and 6,000 Btu or less in Bathrooms. As always
check local codes.
